The site-specific kinetic sound installation du bist in mich eingetreten (you entered me) thinks about the pumping station as an organ of the city of Siegburg and understands the building as an active body.
The first part of the work I Hohlvenen (I Vena Cava) gives the pumping-station a pulse and clarifies the rhythms that were once inherent in the building.
Through the laying on of hands, visitors can tactilely experience the sound of throbbing that afflicts the entire building as alive.

The second part II Magengrube (II Stomach Pit) deals with the process of decomposition of the body through time, stone and water. In this process, the kinetic-space-grasping installation narrates the
materiality of its components - the natural stones from the Sieg River and the concrete walls of the pumping station.

"On rails stretched across the walls like manifested beams of time or temporal durations, the constant and inexorable change takes place in quiet, almost playfully delicate movements of rubbing stones.... a becoming and passing away.“ (Frauke Eckhardt)
Through profound exploration of the pumping station, this work developed in dialogue with the space, whose surroundings and materials are foregrounded here as primary agents.
